FAQ About The 8 Week Summer Shape Up Programme

What if I haven’t exercised in a long time or not at all?

Whether you’re a complete beginner or have experience, we’ll adapt your workouts so they’re tailored to your abilities meaning you can rest easy knowing we’ve got you covered.

What results can I expect to get at the end of the 8 weeks?

8 weeks is the perfect amount of time to see drastic results in a short space of time. You’ll notice you’ve toned up in all the right places, with increased confidence levels whilst transforming your health and fitness levels.

I have a pre-existing injury, I don’t want to make it worse or have any setbacks.

A lot of people that come to us for the first time have pre-existing injuries but our coaching team is very experienced and endorsed by many local physios for the good work we do. We will work around any injuries you have which will make you stronger for the future without any pain or discomfort.

What if I can’t make it into your facility for sessions?

If you’re unable to attend physically, don’t worry we’ve got you covered! We have incorporated online coaching along with our normal training. So you can either train with us, or from the comfort of your own home.

These Local Residents Tried Various Diets & Boring Workouts That Simply Didn’t Work, That Is, Until They Found Us!

My name is Kellymarie spain and I’m 27 years old. I’ve been training with Karl the last 5 years. My initial reason behind starting a gym was more so for moral support for my sister who wanted to join and needed a gym buddy.. I never would have considered myself unfit or needing to exercise but my outlook on fitness quickly changed after my first couple of classes with Karl & it wasn’t long before I knew it was for me & would be something I would enjoy doing for a very long time.

As my fitness level progressed I started seeing small then bigger changes in my body, i felt healthier looked better and had more confidence. I enjoyed the feeling I got after every gym session, all while training in a friendly environment. Over the last few years I’ve worked on my own personal goals, firstly it was to lose weight , then drop bodyfat , gain muscle, & the most recent weight training which I really enjoy.

Karl has without a doubt been the person to fully support, coach, encourage and enable me in achieving each and every one of these goals. He is always available to answer the million questions I have about food & nutrition, educating me on healthier eating & giving me a better understanding of what is right and wrong for me regarding food choices. Even on day’s I feel like not training he somehow manages to motivate me to get through the class, pushes me out of my comfort zone to a point where I even surprise myself, he will never let me leave a class without me feeling like I’ve worked 100%. he is tough but fair, no two classes are ever the same which I really enjoy & appreciate. I am never disappointed by how well structured and thought out his workouts are.

I would recommend anybody from zero level of fitness to a frequent gym goer to attend kdf, classes are always full which brings a great atmosphere whilst training but with the feeling of one on one training from karl who is always by your side making sure you are comfortable and confident with each exercise through – out the class.

Hi my name is Jocelyn Moran. I’m 26 years old. I started training with Karl in January of this year. I contacted him in December and booked 6 weeks personal training for January. I couldn’t wait to get started but I was very nervous about going back into doing classes as it had been ages since i had done any sort of training. My diet and eating habits was terrible and I wanted a lifestyle change and to do something different.

My diet has been tricky but Karl has thought me so much. He really is brilliant at what he does and very professional. The classes are tough but you are kept Motivated all the time. Each one is different you never get bored !!!

I’m not were I wanna be just yet but I no I’ll get there. I have achieve great results in such a short period of time, which I couldn’t of done without Karl’s help. I now do 3 classes a week and I can honestly say I love doing them. For me his phone app is amazing being able to choose when I wanna do to a class, what time and a day that suits me really makes my life so easy. It’s hassle free. It’s built into my weekly routine now. All the girls are lovely and I always feel comfortable and relaxed. Karl is always there if I ever need to ask a question.

Honestly I wouldn’t train anywhere else now. Can’t recommend him enough.

Hi my name is Charlene. I have been training with Karl for the last 4 years and still do now. He’s by far the best trainer I have ever trained with. One of the things I like about training in KDF is you never get bored with the classes, He always mixes things up, it’s never the same class over n over which is why I love training there. He always pushes me to the point I can’t give any more, you’re always guaranteed a great work out!!

The big part for me was he also helped me a lot when it came to my diet. My diet was always a huge barrier for me, I always thought eating less and less was the solution but really it wasn’t. It always affected my mood and energy levels and it always frustrated me why I wasn’t seeing results, why everything was staying the same weight wise, but Karl has helped me throughout the years with my diet, going the right way with things. And now I realise having a HEALTHY BALANCE DIET really is the answer.

I feel a big difference in myself! Got MY RESULTS I always wanted, feeling good in my own body has to be the best feeling ever. Only for Karl guiding me in the right direction with my DIET and TRAINING I couldn’t have done it without all his help.
